PL Redesign – A Cleaner Look

We are happy to announce a rather significant update to the Photography Life design, which is focused on delivering a much cleaner user experience optimized for both both desktop and mobile use. We got rid of the large headers and the enormous slider on the front page and re-tweaked every part of the website to look very polished and distraction-free. A lot of the older content has been updated with more up-to-date information and we will be continuing our efforts in making sure that all the content stays relevant on the site, whether you are looking at articles published 5 years ago or today.

PL Redesign

As always, we welcome your feedback and we hope to hear your opinion on both the design of the website and its content. While we have done everything we can to test the new website on a number of different devices and browsers, there might still be bugs present here and there that we would like to know about. If there is anything you would like us to feature or work on, please let us know in the comments below! And if you have some great content to share with our community, please feel free to reach out and let us know through our content submission form.

We are also happy to announce that we will soon be running a couple of great contests for our readers, with great prizes and giveaways, just like we have done in the past. Stay tuned for more updates later next week!

Lastly, we decided to focus on more beginner and enthusiast-level content for the next month or two. While it is always fun to talk about things like ISO invariance, we know that many of our readers would like to see more approachable topics that are a bit easier to digest.
